So a ton has happened in the past 7ish months, crazy busy! I cannot believe I haven't posted since spring break. Well the short is: finished my 2nd semester of the nursing program (6th semester of College), got married (lots included), moved to Lee's Summit, started a new semester and I am now half way through it! Cannot believe how fast time flies.
John is currently working at FedEx Office about a mile from our house, which is wonderful. He really seems to like it. We were in StL last weekend for John's parents 30th Wedding Anniversary Party/Dinner. It was a lovely time and I ended up staying in StL until Tuesday because class was cancelled :) now i am behind on studying but oh well! While in StL my family and I participated in the Mercy 5K (family walk/run). It was a great time!
I have had 8 weeks of clinical and have gained so much crazy knowledge already, I cannot imagine myself May! I graduate May 5!!! I have been various places within the hospital, Med-Surg for 5 weeks, and ICU for 5 weeks (including ICU and Tele units, Cath lab/ED/Pre-opPACU/NICU).
My sister in law is going to have and they invited me to be there during the birth, I cannot wait!! Praying I won't be in school and will be able to go, its a waiting game. Should be within the next 2 weeks though :)
There is so much going on in our lives everyday and I know God has plans for us and we continue to live for Him and await the reveling of His plans! Excited for life's happenings to unfold with my amazing Husband!
